As Gianna arrived in front of Carlos office, she knocked a few times before she was asked to come in.
She went inside to meet him sitting behind his desk. A glass sat on the bridge of his nose as he looked at her with a friendly smile.
"Have a seat" He told her and Gianna took the seat in front of him.
"Are you here for the handover?"
"Yes" She nodded, feeling awkward in front of him. She was... Actually taking his job right? But for someone whose position has just been ripped away from him, he looked quite okay. He could even smile as he made the hand over.
"Mr. Carlos?" Gianna called after listening to him speak for several minutes "Aren't you worried?"
"Worried?" He ached a brow then as if he remembered something, he smiled a smile that looked so kind "I don't see any reason why i should be worried Miss Giana. If boss is giving you this position, it only mean that i will be promoted right?"
"Right..." She nodded, wanting to believe that. Her eyes narrowed.
