Aurora's Pov
My fingers trailed over his chest, feeling each rib with a light touch. I traced them gently as if they would break and then brought them over to his face.
My mind reeling with thoughts of what to say. I couldn't seem to find the right words to tell him.
My fingers went to his eyes, and this time I let my hands rest there for a moment before moving down to trace along his jawline.
My hands moved from his jawline to the sides of his neck, trying to feel his pulse point beat beneath my fingertips but there was none.
"I don't believe that you're gone. I don't know why, but I believe that you're somewhere in there... listening to me. You can hear me right?... Jason?" My voice cracked slightly on the last word. It took every fiber of my being not to cry but I felt so vulnerable when it came to him.
"Jason?" I called again but there was still no response. Nothing at all.
