Aurora's POV
"Oh my goodness!" I exclaimed as I arrived at the cave, staring at the headless corpse of a guard lying before me on the ground, watching as blood pooled at its neck and dripped from where the head had rolled.
My hand rose to cover my mouth as my stomach churned in disgust, feeling slightly ill at the sight placed before me.
As I tried to control the pressing urge I had to throw up, I looked around the area trying to find any sign of life within and I was quite curious as to what happened to the other guards especially Eryain who was meant to be the one in charge.....Where was he and why is this guard the only one here and dead too?
I was curious to know if they had also been killed by the same person who had killed this guard...
