Jason's POV
The birds were chirping loudly in the bushes that surrounded the training ground. And the sky wore a beautiful shade of blue, it wasn't clouded, as the sun was high up in the sky. The weather today was just as hot as the day before.
But something more than the heat that seemed to have settled over the camp for the past few days worries me at the moment
I had kept my distance from Amentha after what happened between us, merely thinking about it made me want to throw up. And not that she was bad looking or anything…but that she'd kissed me...and that made things very awkward between us.
But mostly, that guilt I feel whenever I'm with Aurora is almost becoming unbearable, so much so that I haven't been able to sleep most nights lately.
