The deer continued to stare at Jason and Aurora as they walked away through the forest and just as their steps faded, it shape-shifted into a raven-haired woman.

Her eyes were emerald green, just like the deer. And her face was twisted into a sad smile that could be interpreted as almost happy but not quite. And there was no trace of tears or pain in the way her expression changed from smiling to a sad frown in under one breath. She looked quite young, yet very much older contrary to the way she actually looked.

Her midnight dark hair was in a tight bun and held up with an ornate headdress with beads sewn into it. She wore a long dark blue gown, the sleeves of which covered her hands while the bottom hem flowed past her mid-thigh. And around her waist was a matching long gold chain holding two daggers. 

" You did well in pretending to be a deer." A female voice said behind her.
