Aurora's Pov
It was almost sunset and we were already done with swimming and just strolled around the area; at least that was what I thought until we got to this old shaft house. It looked like there had been a fire outbreak, although, from the look of the state of the house, it seemed like it had been long since the blaze took place.
The front door looks broken off its hinges and as we step inside, we are greeted by an eerie silence; we can only hear our footsteps echoing throughout the empty house and the wind rattling the windows.
As I looked over at Jason, I noticed the change in his eyes; they were glowing again with that golden amber swirling in his emerald green eyes. He seemed tense, almost uneasy as if something was going on in his head which didn't really sit right with me.
