Aurora's Pov
"Tell me, what happened out there?" Jason's father asked me. I could hear the worry in his voice and it caused a lump in my throat because I had no answer to his question.
" To be honest, I really don't know..." I began to explain, "All he did was collect the knife from her, and then it was like he went completely blank...like he zoned out into space or something, but the only thing I was sure about was his eye color they..."
"...They changed." He completed the sentence for me before speaking. " I know, that happens only when he's speaking to his wolf or....using his powers." Jason's father added the last part as an afterthought, sounding so sure that his son used one of his supernatural abilities, and I knew that he was right, but I still wasn't quite ready to talk about it with Jason's father without first discussing it with Jason himself. I didn't know if Jason even wanted to share the details as to why that happened with his father yet.
