Silence ensued between them for a while with Jason staring intently at Nimara, who simply stared right back at him with unexplainable emotions swirling in her golden pools.
Jason blinked and his head shook, the tension in his shoulders increasing as his mind reeled.
"I'm dead..." He repeated, starting to panic.
"I'm...no...this can not happen...the prophecy..."
"The prophecy is true." Nimara finally spoke, interrupting Jason from his words.
"...You will be Khan's end... Jason." She spoke, her tone quite firm which puzzled Jason greatly.
"How can I be his end...He killed me already!" He exclaimed, "I'm dead!"
"No...he didn't kill you... he thought he did but he failed."
"...Yes, you were severely wounded and were on the verge of dying but before he could tap into your soul and before you fell into the abyss I intercepted and brought you here." Nimara finally responded.
