Aurora's Pov
It was finally today when a ritual to help Jason's soul complete his journey to the afterlife would be performed and I was nothing close to being at rest as I kept looking around at the few people that were present.
"Aurora?" Luther who was standing by my side called, causing me to face him.
"Yes?" I answered looking at him curiously while he looked at me with concern. in those blue-gray eyes of his.
"Are you okay? You look tense." He told me while I gave him an awkward smile.
"I'm fine, Luther," I said trying to sound casual but I guess he caught the hint that I wasn't telling the truth because his brows furrowed before he spoke again.
"Are you sure? You look quite anxious and you keep looking around like you're waiting for someone." He asked once more and it was then that I realized that he may have been looking at me a bit too intently.
"Anxious?" I asked, trying to fake confusion.
