Elaine's POV
"Thank you but I'm not hungry," I replied and she frowned a little.
"This is your first time meeting me and you're already making me offended by your attitude." She said with a light smile still holding out the little red fruit in her hands to me.
"I'm sorry but...I'm not here to have berries with you, I don't even know why I'm here. I just want to get strong enough and become a god so I can defeat Khan and save my nephew." I told her as she looked at me and then smiled softly.
"Have the berry first and then I'll see if I can help you." She said, still smiling.
I took a glance at the fruit and reluctantly took it from her hand and dropped it in my mouth.
"Hmm...why doesn't it taste like normal berries?" I asked and she laughed slightly.
"How do you expect to eat a berry from a not normal place and expect it to taste normal?" She questioned raising an eyebrow at me while sitting on the ground.
