Jason POV
It was still dawn and the morning light was just starting to paint the sky with beautiful shades of orange, red, and yellow.
I and Aurora were standing just a few steps away from our tent she had a pout on her face and her usually bright violet eyes were a bit dull; though I couldn't quite tell maybe it was due to not being able to fall asleep when I told her the news of me going with my Mom a few others to Esmeray(The Vampire Tribe).
After reluctantly agreeing to my going she kept on talking with me about random stuff going on in the camp. Some were quite funny. We talked for so long that I didn't realize I slept off until I woke up this morning to find her staring at me with a smile and an adorable pink hue dusting her cheeks.
"Why so glum?" I asked, looking down at Aurora's face. Her violet eyes looked up to mine, a sad smile resting on her lips.
She shook her head, "I'm not sad." She said with a pause.
