Jason's POV
"Aurora?" I called out in concern as I entered our tent. She slowly opened her eyes.
She seemed groggy but still lucid enough to speak. She blinked twice before smiling at me.
"Hey." She said, her voice soft and sleepy. A small frown appeared on my face as she rubbed her eye with her palm.
"I'm sorry, I woke you," I said with a gentle tone of concern. Aurora shook her head before sitting up, rubbing the back of her neck.
"No, you didn't. I wasn't sleeping, I was waiting for you." Her tone was playful, though her eyes told another story.
"But your eyes were closed when I came in and you look sleepy," I said. She shrugged, trying to play it off casually.
"I know. But I was trying not to go to sleep." She answered truthfully. I raised an eyebrow in question, looking down at her.
"Why? I mean, are you okay?" I asked cautiously. She smiled slightly.
