Aurora's POV
"Aurora!" I jumped slightly from my chair to Yaya calling my name. She had been standing there waiting for me, her face worried and the corners of her mouth pulled down.
"What's wrong? You've been tapping your fingers on the table and just staring into the air since you came here." She asked, taking a seat across from me.
I shook my head in an attempt to assure her. "No, nothing is wrong. Sorry I made you worry." I said trying to brush off what was causing my lack of focus.
She narrowed her eyes at me before taking one of my hands in hers.
"Just now I was calling you but you didn't respond...You seem lost in thought, what's the matter child?" She asked me with concern seeping through every word she spoke as she ran her thumb over my knuckles.
"I'm fine, I guess," I whispered. She gave me a disbelieving look and then squeezed my hand lightly before pulling back.
