Jason's Pov
"What happened?" My mom asked Marissa, a fairy who was trembling in fear and I could tell by the way her body was shaking that she was traumatized by whatever it was that happened.
Her partner had just been killed, torn to shreds and we are trying to get out what happened from her but she looked too scared to say anything.
"Marissa, come tell me who did this. You can trust me...come on tell me." My mom said and Marisa gulped taking a deep shaky breath before answering. "It...it...it was...big..." Marissa stuttered as she looked down at the ground.
"Big?" My mother repeated with an eyebrow raised,
"It killed him." The poor girl said, shivering.
"Marissa! Oh my dear... what happened?" Vida suddenly walked into the scene pushing me aside as she crouched down to Marissa who was seated with her knees brought up to her chest on the floor.
