Jason's Pov
I opened the tent flap to see an excited Aurora, looking at me through those beautiful violet eyes of hers that always manage to make my heart pound faster than it should.
"Jason!" She called, pulling me down onto the cot to sit as I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed the top of her head, smiling from ear to ear with excitement and joy.
"Hi, love." I grinned, nuzzling her neck. Her scent made my heart race even faster and I could feel myself relaxing slowly as we sat there holding each other, like warm honey was being dripped all over my tired muscles, making them grow heavy and relaxed.
With Yaya making her stay here all day....just until her powers get stabilized, I knew how bored she'd become.
"So how was your day?" I smiled, pulling back just enough so our faces were only a few inches apart.
