Elaine's Pov
The night sky was a beautiful array of stars twinkling brightly, lighting up the dark velvet of the night sky.
The full moon.....shining brightly, casting a silver glow upon the water. I could see every detail on its surface, how the reflection of the moonlight glinted off in the clear water.
The wind rustled through the trees around, dancing softly among the leaves, and the sound of our breathing was the only audible sound in our surroundings.
It felt great to be back here after so long.
It was as though all else ceased to exist as if time had stopped moving around us; to finally be here with him...at this very moment....at this very place...after twenty-two years, five months, three weeks, and four days.
I know.....you might think I'm crazy but I'm not.
