Arthur backed away slowly and then peeked back through the door. He thought this was just a hallucination.
It felt very weird to see Astragus close to Oliver. How could this happen? Wasn't this unreasonable?
Oliver looked pleased while Astragus quietly read the book. They look like grandpa and grandson spending time together.
[Did Felix tell him to do that?] Arthur thought of the most reasonable possibility. But even if Felix ordered him, Astragus couldn't possibly want to do it.
"What are you doing here?"
Arthur turned and found Cass beside him. He told her to be quiet and then showed him what was happening in the library.
Cass' reaction was the same as Arthur's. She gaped with wide eyes.
"Grandpa, do Swan Princesses really exist? Can they turn into swans?" Oliver's tiny voice was heard outside.
"I don't know, Your Highness. Maybe they really are and are hiding in the forest," answered Astragus patiently.
