Cass's gaze turned sharp. Holly stood up, backing away nervously. If she could, she really wanted to run away from her. But every time she backed off, Cass would come closer to her.
"My son is dead, Cass. Felix already killed him in front of me!" Holly raised her voice.
Cass shook her head with a grin. Holly looked here and there, looking for Gilbert or anyone who could help her find an excuse.
"I already know everything. How could you and Felix still be fine if that kid really died?"
Holly looked down, unable to dodge anymore. She didn't know where Cass got the information but she didn't think Cass would be easy to fool.
"What would you do? If the child is still alive, what will you do?" asked Holly in a low voice. There was no one in the room but she was afraid that someone would hear them.
"Holly, do you still not understand? That child can bring destruction. You don't want a war to happen in this kingdom, aren't you?"
