"What do you mean to go? You want to leave me?"
Felix raised his voice. Holly flinched in surprise at Felix's sudden snapping reaction.
"He needs me, Felix. I guess I should have gone with him."
Felix widened his eyes sharply. He brought his body closer to Holly, no longer thinking about the dirt on his shirt.
"There's already Gilbert taking care of him. You just have to wait here until I bring him home!"
"Then when will it happen, Felix? What's the difference with me leaving?"
Felix fell silent with his jaw clenched. His eyes were getting sharper but he didn't look Holly in the eyes anymore. Felix seemed to be starting to realize that his reaction was too much. Felix backed away with a sigh.
"I need you, Holly. I can't do it myself," he said in a low voice.
Holly couldn't bear to see Felix who looked so devastated. She drew closer to Felix, touching his cheeks.
