"What? Why do you say that? How could I kill a child?"
Felix raised his voice. Never in Felix's life did he point a sword at a child. Even if it was the son of a traitor. He chose to exile them to another island rather than kill them.
Holly grabbed Felix's hand, holding him to calm him down. She didn't mean to offend Felix. Her dream only disturbed her, and Holly didn't want to take the risk if it really happened.
"I know. But can you promise me?"
"Of course! I will not kill a child, no matter who the parent is."
Felix fell silent then. He realized his voice was too high and sounded angry. But he was a little offended. What did Holly think about him to think he could kill children?
The silence helpt Felix to calm down. Right, Holly must have had a reason for saying that. Moreover, she looked scared of him.
"What did you dream about?" Felix asked.
