The three of them looked at each other. Gilbert was standing in front of the tent, picking out the sweets served there.
"What are you doing here? You said you would catch up tomorrow?" Felix asked. He was the first to approach Gilbert, while Holly followed behind.
"I came early because I had to buy something." Gilbert stole glances at Holly as he answered that.
"Is this the so-called candy?"
Felix picked up a candy bar, held it up high and looked at it like a gem.
Holly peeked at a box that Gilbert was carrying. There must be many candies in it.
"Why did you buy that much? You want to send it to Elena?" Holly smiled mischievously.
Gilbert quickly shook his head. He looked at his candy, then looked at Holly. There was a hint of disappointment that Holly didn't realize on his face.
"It's for nobody," Gilbert said very quietly.
