Frada stopped. She knew it was Cass' voice, and they had just been caught. Should she run? But with Arthur's condition, she indeed couldn't do it.
"Hey! Where are you going?" Cass approached them warily.
Arthur sighed. He turned around first with a wide grin.
"I want to run away," Arthur said honestly.
Frada and Cass glared at him, unable to believe he would be this honest. Cass's eyes turned to Frada, who now dared to look back at her.
Before Cass joined in suspecting Frada, Arthur said, "I can't do it myself. And she wants me to pay a hundred coins."
Arthur patted the back of the flustered Frada. She hastily lowered her head and pretended to feel guilty.
Cass observed Frada. From the start, she had suspected Frada. Cass approached them, her eyes now turning to Arthur.
"Does someone like you have money?"
Arthur dug into his pocket lazily, pulling out a pink pouch. Cass was wide-eyed. That was her coin bag!
