Cass couldn't believe what she saw. She was sure Holly didn't stop Gilbert's hand with her strength. An angry wolf wouldn't be that easy to control. Not even Gilbert.
Cass saw everything from a distance, but she could hear them with her sharp ears. Gilbert stopped immediately when Holly told him to stop. It wasn't because of Holly's hand holding him, but her words.
Something like this was familiar to Cass. A mate could have an absolute command for her alpha. In certain situations, the alpha couldn't reject his mate's order. And it was just witnessed by Cass.
But the problem was… Holly was Felix's mate.
Why did Gilbert follow her? It didn't correct. It was obvious that something was not right here. Holly should only be able to do that to Felix.
Worry filled up her chest. Cass couldn't stay still. This problem would only be got more complicated.
