"A beast! There is a beast here!"
They screamed in fear while pointing at Felix. Some even fell to the ground because their knees were shaking.
Holly was confused. How did the residents get here? They should be busy putting out the fire.
"We have to save the Queen!" Someone took the torch. The others followed him, and they together stepped forward on trembling legs.
"Leave our Queen!" They shouted while swinging torches at Felix. Their voices trembled just as their bodies were about to collapse from excessive fear.
Holly quickly stood in front of Felix. She stretched her arms protectively to protect Felix from the citizens' fire.
"Don't! He's not a beast like you think!" Holly tried to stop them.
"My Queen, please step aside. It's a dangerous beast!"
