Auburn was really starting to see the benefit of working with other wolves from other packs. If only because they had so much use that he could make out of them. David was able to direct them to almost the exact places where certain things were happening, and Auburn had placed his wolves strategically throughout the city.
He had a particular interest in watching what was happening with Layla, and Auburn was glad that he had. He had just gotten some information that seemed to insinuate that things between Layla and Henry weren't exactly as great as the Alpha wolf hoped things to be.
Layla was back in Lunavia.
Auburn had been a little irritated and more than just a little disappointed when he discovered that Layla wasn't at her pack in the forest. He hadn't bothered staying much longer after that, he hadn't lost any wolves in the attack and he didn't want to risk any of them dying if she wasn't even there.
