Layla listened to what Henry was telling her, and though it made her life and decisions so much harder, she knew that it wasn't that far off from the truth. Auburn would come back here, he would attack them again. It was naivety to think anything else. And her staying here would only draw his attention more.
He had thought that she was here, that was why he had attacked. He hadn't known that she had gone to her cousin's pack. It was also why he didn't kill the entire pack. He had no real issue with them, his argument was with her.
"You need to come back with me," Henry told her again, not giving her a chance to speak. "You need to come back to Lunavia."
Layla knew that was why he had come, then. To warn the pack, and protect it. But he couldn't protect it like he had before. He could only take away the threat, now. He couldn't send reinforcements, not with what was happening back home in Lunavia.
