For days after he had come back from the Silva forest, for days after Layla had rejected him, there was almost nothing Henry could do to make himself focus. All he could think about was Layla, as she told him to leave.
He knew that she was hurting, and that was mostly what had caused her outburst when he had gotten to her. But he also knew that she had left both him and Lunavia long before her father had been killed, and so he knew that it wasn't her father's death that had made her leave him .
Henry could understand how she could be upset and emotional now, he could understand that there was something very wrong with her right now, and that she wouldn't want to see him. That made perfect sense to him. But what he couldn't understand was why she had left in the first place .
