The rest of the night, and the next day, Layla went back and forth in her head, again and again, about what the right thing to do about getting that information off of Henry's computer and into David's hands was.
Henry didn't come back in all that time, but Layla hadn't expected him to. He normally went longer than twenty-four hours before coming back home to eat and rest. She had put everything back that David had touched and moved around, and to anyone else, it looked like no one besides her had been there.
She knew that he had come in through the window, and so Emmett and Paul and whatever other wolves had been guarding her knew nothing of him being in the room.
Henry's apartment didn't have a fire escape by his window, so she guessed that Henry hadn't thought that anyone would be able to get in through there.
She briefly wondered how David had managed to get in, but it wasn't really something that had bothered her.
