Layla watched as Bronx collapsed to the ground. The wolfsbane and silver would be wreaking havoc through his system now.
She felt the shock go through the entire pack as they watched their Alpha fall.
Layla knew one thing above all, she now had to get Auburn out of Silva if only to protect her pack from him. Taking a deep breath and steeling herself, she made her way over to him.
Auburn watched her approach with interest, but he didn't react much further than that. Neither did any of the other wolves of his pack as they allowed her to pass by them to get to Auburn. She was an Omega, at the end of the day, and there was only so much that she could do.
Her heart beat wildly as she went through.
"I'm coming with you," Layla said to him, standing right before him, both of them surrounded by his wolves. "Please, just leave them all alone."
Auburn seemed to consider her words for a moment and then nodded.
