Callie's POV ...
It hadn't been how we had intended on telling Kameron's parents about the wedding date, but there was never going to be a perfect time.
Nora, as expected, was against us rushing things, but she had no good reason as to why we should wait. After a lot of back and forth, she finally relented.
It wasn't an argument that I was going to allow her to win. Besides, after our little chat in the hospital, Nora preferred not to disagree with me on things. I could tell she wanted us to grow a close and genuine mother and daughter type relationship. So I wanted to try.
That was why I was sipping coffee at the kitchen island at 6:00 AM. Nora had insisted that we get an early start to our day of wedding planning.
