Callie's POV ...
We walked into the healing center hand in hand, our little fight long forgotten.
I understood that Kameron was the Alpha and he was the head of this pack, but I was his Luna. I was meant to be his equal and not his subordinate.
I knew that our little fight would come up again but for now, I was okay with tabling the issue. We needed to attend to our wounded and mourn with those who lost people.
The children and the caretakers had returned to the pack center and were reunited with their families. It was a heartwarming thing to watch children run to their mothers and fathers who had fought bravely in battle. But then there was the other side of it where small pups searched for their parent and couldn't find them.
