Kameron's POV ...
Anthony stood opposite me and stood in front of him with a pocket knife. He raised his hand and present it to me. I sliced his palm and I did the same with mine.
We shook hands together mixing our blood.
"I, Kameron Arthur Lake, do hereby make you, Anthony Fredrick Grey, the new beta of the Great Pine Pack. Do you swear to uphold the principles of this pack and to abide by the laws set by your alpha? Do you promise to lead with honor, compassion, and understanding? And do you swear to pledge your undying allegiance to your alpha from this day and till your last?"
Anthony puffed out his chest, "I do."
I felt the familiar tingles course through my blood as the power of the beta transferred to him.
An easy smile slipped onto my lips, "congratulations, Beta Anthony."
Anthony mirrored my smile, "thank you, Alpha. I don't know how I will ever thank you for giving me this opportunity. I promise I will not let you down."
