Isabel's POV ...
I followed closely behind Jorge. I could tell he was feeling uncomfortable and it was strange to see him like that.
When we were far enough away from the campsite, he paused and pulled out his dagger and a piece of paper.
When I got a closer look, I saw that it wasn't just a blank piece of paper. There was writing on the paper and from what I could make it under the moonlight was that it was his contact information.
"Let's go," he shot me a look over his shoulder. He took off leaving me standing there for a little bit.
I took the opportunity to take the dagger and remove his contact information.
I didn't need those rogues to be able to reach Jorge. He didn't need any more allies in his plans.
"Isabel," he called to me.
"I'm coming." I hid the dagger in my boot and crumbled up the little piece of paper and stuffed it in my pocket.
