"This is ridiculous."
"Why did you call him here?"
"The more that helps, the better."
Arden sighed and rubbed his face. Ethan crossed his arms and looked away. Mandy smiled guiltily.
They gathered in Arden's room in the dormitory after class was over. Mandy bombarded Arden with lots of questions about Runa and Arden explains Runa's situation and plans to free her from her father.
"I shouldn't have saved him," Mandy said, annoyed after listening to Arden's explanation.
Arden nodded in agreement. "I thought so, too. But it's equally detrimental to her."
"Then what are your plans now?"
Arden looked around. "Not here," he said. They were still in the temporary classroom building and there were still a lot of students hanging around. "We talk in my room. But don't come right away. Come about half an hour after I arrive."
Mandy nodded. "I'll bring someone," she said excitedly.
Arden frowned. "Who?"
"You'll know."
