One week has passed since that incident. The competition has ended and Runa just has to wait for the results. Even though everything went smoothly, there were things stuck in her mind that didn't go away.
Since that night, after her birthday party, Runa has never met her father.
Not that she expected to meet Christopher Crown, because the time she spent with him never give her happy memories. But it felt strange because Chris had never once called her. Especially after the big incident they experienced. It seemed almost impossible that Chris didn't know that Runa already knew the truth about her parents.
"Mr. Crown is scheduling dinner with your friends tonight."
