Runa came to the old house behind the university as soon as the lecture was over. Arden had not been seen since this afternoon when the students were resting and flocking to the cafeteria.
Hunter passed her in the cafeteria, and he looked away when their eyes met. Runa saw Hunter's ears turning red, and she immediately lowered her head. She felt ashamed to see Hunter like that. How could Arden be so relaxed earlier?
Mandy didn't come to campus today. She said she had urgent family matters which required her to go out of town with her parents. She sent a cute message about Runa not needing to miss her and she promised to come back tomorrow.
"Arden?" Runa pushed the half-closed door of the house and thought she would see Arden sleeping on the old sofa by the window. He was indeed on the couch, but he wasn't sleeping. Arden was playing on his cell phone. He looked up when he heard Runa's voice, and Runa smiled when their eyes met.
