"Where are we going?"
Runa followed Arden, who was gripping her hand, down the halls of the main house. When the lights went out earlier, Arden took Runa up the stairs, heading in the direction where Runa came.
"Do you have a room here?" asked Arden.
"Yes. Why?"
"I want to see it."
"Do you want to find something related to my identity?"
Arden stopped walking and so did Runa. He looked at her. His scythe stood upright beside him.
"I just want to know more about you," he said. There was sincerity in his eyes when he said that, and it made Runa's heart melt and feel guilty at the same time. She was too suspicious of him.
To be honest, until this moment, sometimes Runa still wonders why Arden became her lover. There was still a bit of doubt and fear about what might happen if she gave her heart completely to him. Is it true that he feels something towards her? Or is there a hidden meaning in his attitude?
