Arden landed in the front yard of Ethan's house, then he put Runa down. Runa was still not used to traveling by air like a bird, so she felt a little dizzy. Arden took her hand, and they walked into the house as if it were their own.
Ethan was sitting by the fireplace, reading a book. His house was still as gloomy as when Runa came here for the first time. She didn't even notice any of the lights were on here. The only source of light came from the fire of the fireplace, which was burning brightly, forming a sinister silhouette on the floor. For some reason, seeing the dancing flames reminded her of hell.
Ethan closed the book and placed it on his lap, then he looked at Arden and Runa with a long sigh.
