After introducing Runa to Ethan, Mrs. Fonard left them together in the library.
Runa looked at Ethan as if it was the first time she saw him.
Today he looks different. Maybe it's because his hair is combed neatly and he wears glasses. He was wearing a brown sweater that made him look one hundred percent nerdy.

Ethan pulled the scientific paper report book from in front of her. "Have you read it?" he asked.
Instead of answering the question, Runa leaned over half the table and said, "Do you know where Arden is now?"
Ethan flinched. His eyes stared fixedly at Runa. "Too close," he said.
"Too close? He's close with you?" Rune frowned. "Is he with you?"
"No." Ethan closed his eyes for a moment as he took a deep breath. When he opened his eyes, he said, "You're too close," he repeated.
