Runa didn't expect Sophia to appear in front of her house so early on a Sunday. She was busy replaying the memory of last night's events and rejoicing at having tricked her father, only to find herself ending up in an unpleasant situation.
But it wasn't the first time Runa had lied to Sophia, so it wasn't a difficult thing.
"Meeting friends at the dorm," said Runa. She reached into her bag and took her house keys. "Why are you here?" she asked then as she walked to the door and opened it.
"This early?" Sophia asked again, ignoring Runa's question.
Runa looked over her shoulder and put on a flat expression. "Yes. Is there a problem? As far as I know, I only have a curfew. There's no rule forbidding me to leave the house as early as possible."
After Runa opened the door, she turned and stood in the doorway, signaling that she didn't let Sophia come in.
