Dress rehearsal day arrived.
Before Runa left for the campus to take part in the dress rehearsal, Chris called her into the study.
Runa had not seen Chris for several days. Runa had even eaten dinner alone for the past few days. When she saw Chris, she was shocked. Her father looked pale and thin.
Runa wanted to ask if her father was sick, but she didn't want Chris to think she was concerned about him. So Runa just kept quiet.
"Did you do it?" asked Chris without preamble.
Being pointed at a question like that made Runa confused. "Do what?"
"I know you arranged for yourself to be part of the event and that it was you who disguised yourself as a parent and filed a complaint with the campus about the bodyguards escorting you."
"Father, what are you talking about?"
