Nonetheless, the surrounding village chiefs wanted their villagers to have what Su Teng Village had. It would be a good harvest if they could get good seeds. The Su Teng villagers had extraordinary lives, and Chief Su felt proud.
None of the chiefs wanted their villagers to starve or freeze to death. If that happened, they would be too ashamed to face their villagers.
The other village chiefs sighed in relief when they heard Chief Su's words. They all expressed their sincere gratitude.
