Chapter 269 - The Temple

He Xun drove to the top of the mountain and went to a temple. There was already a young monk waiting for him at the entrance. "Almsgiver He."

"May I ask if the abbot is here?" He Xun asked.

"Yes, he is. The abbot asked me to wait for you here. Please follow me." The young monk bent his back slightly, turned around, and led He Xun through the main door of the temple.

The temple was quite peaceful. The freshness of nature accompanied by the faint scent of burning sandalwood was healing and brought happiness to people.

Under the guidance of the young monk, He Xun finally arrived in front of a Buddha statue.

The abbot of the temple was sitting and knocking on the wooden fish.

He Xun knelt down in front of the futon beside him and bowed three times to the Buddha statue. Every bow was extremely sincere.

The abbot stopped his actions and sighed. "You're here."
