Emerald
Brian and I were talking over at Marlene's place and after he suggested the idea of going on a vacation with him, I froze up and told him that I'd think about it.
He didn't say too much to try to convince me and instead he offered to take me to another one of his houses that I have never been to. I became curious to know where he was taking me because I already knew one of his houses apart from the one we stayed in and that was just about all I knew.
We had left in his car with most of my bags in the trunk after I had said goodbye to Mia. After hours of driving, Brian finally pulled up in a driveway.
I looked up to see a bungalow situated on the last lane of Santon highlands. Although I have heard of this secluded area meant for the rich, I had never been here before.
He switched off the car engine and unbuckled his seatbelt. Without a word, he bounced out of the car and then rounded up the corner to open the door for me.
