Emerald
I was seated on the balcony outside my bedroom, sipping my cup of coffee slowly and quietly. I was kind of already getting used to living the life of a stay-at-home wife and now, I mostly spend my time looking outside the mansion from my side of the house or reading another one of my very unrealistic romance novels.
As much as I didn't want to admit it to myself, I didn't really miss the hustle and bustle of being a nurse, although I definitely missed having something to do with my time. I didn't agree with Brian's prejudice of thinking that I was a gold digger but I certainly could not deny the fact that he was right about me not really missing my old job as much as I seemed like I would.
