Brian and I walked into the hotel hand in hand and it didn't even take a total of thirty seconds before someone recognized him and ran toward us.
He was a middle-aged man, who was dressed casually in khaki shorts and a plain white T-shirt and even though he didn't look like an employee, a huge part of me was hoping he was one because if he turns out to be one of Brian's business acquaintances, then I'm going to have to pretend to be happy to see him and then wait for them to exchange pleasantries and possibly talk about work.
"Brian Huxley. What a surprise!" the man exclaimed and it was obvious that he was surprised to see Brian and so was Brian, judging by the look on his face.
