Suddenly, Lady Weber suddenly knocked heavily on the carriage and raised her voice: "Will, come into the carriage."
The carriage shook, the door opened, and Susan saw the coachman get into the carriage and sit down beside Lady Weber.
"Ladies." The coachman greeted the two ladies with an air of ease.
Susan then realized that although the coachman was
wearing the clothing of an ordinary coachman, yet his temperament was not like a commoner at all. Not only sitting upright and chin high, he looked more than 40 years old, gray eyes shrewd. His face although no longer young, but one could tell that when he was young, he must have been a handsome man.
Susan also noticed that the coachman's fingernails were neatly manicured, and even though he was wearing civilian clothes, they were still new. At this point, the coachman was similar to the rider with whom Lady Weber had met.
That's interesting.
