Susan learned how to lie from Ella. Ella grew up on Frame Street and was a master at it. For a lie to be credible, it should be a mixture of 30% facts and 70% made up to sound as if it were true.
This tip will usually work for most people, but not Shadow. Shadow was not a person who easily believed anything.
