"You see... Mr. Edward. Recently, many gods went for a few millenniums of sleep. That means that recently, many worlds came under my management."
Suddenly Tic looked depressed/gloomy
"And that is a huge problem. Because Mr. Edward I am a god of reincarnation, and that means all of the reincarnation business is under my management, not to mention that I'm already managing quite a few worlds. Now I need to take more of this mess that just came."
"So... What do you want from me?"
"That's the question I was waiting for! as you can already see Mr. Edward, I already am overworked as it is, and now I need to take of this mess, which will incredibly long time and a lot of work due to a lot of worlds being in decline. BUT! I can shorten that time about 100 times if I borrow resources from worlds that do not have any life forms!"
"Ok, I understood that you are overworked but I just heard that you say you already have a solution. So let me ask you: What does it have anything to do with me?"
"Well... You see. There are some rules that we gods have to follow and due to that, I can't just use resources from other worlds as freely as I want to. But some loopholes exist and there's where you come in." said TIC with a screwed smile.
'I don't like that smile on his face.'
"Mr. Edward if I reincarnate you to one of the worlds under my management, I would have more breathing space to use more resources on a technicality."
"Ahhh... So you using me then."
"Yes but don't take it negatively because you will be reincarnated into a 'fantasy' world, where swords, magic, and skills exist, just like in the RPG games you used to play in your old world."
"Well, it's a better option than being reincarnated as nothing. But I do have a question, You won't be meddling into my business in that world, right?"
"Yes, you are right Mr. Edward. Once you reincarnate into that world, I won't be bothering you so don't worry about that. But not only that but you can also choose 2 skills and 1 occupation/class to bring to the next world."
"Alright, I got it but I need quite some time to think things through. So may I take some of it?"
"Yes, of course after all it's not like every day you find out you died and are about to reincarnate into a fantasy world."
After TIC said that, suddenly silence enveloped us as we started eating the snacks that were prepared earlier, but of course everything was delicious.
*10 minutes later*
"Mr. Edward please follow me to your new and temporary place of residence." Said TIC suddenly
"Ah! ok..."
As we started walking out of the uncomfortable garden TIC suddenly said:
"Mr. Edward I can allow you to stay here only one day maybe two. This isn't a really good place for mortals to stay."
"...Got it."
'I can already feel uncomfortable being here only for half an hour.'
As we walked for 2 minutes we finally approached a small medieval-looking building, TIC said:
"Mr. Edward this shall be your temporary place of residence. I hope you rest well and think things through."
"Ah... yes thank you TIC."
"You're welcome. Then... goodbye for now.
"Yea... Goodbye."
As TIC turned around and walked about five or six steps out of the building he suddenly disappeared/teleported.
'UGH... I'm sooo tired. There are so many things to think through... You know what, I'm gonna take a nap and then think things through... Maybe not after all I just died in my sleep and just thinking of a bed sends shivers through my body. '
So once I looked through the small living room, I noticed a modern European leather sofa. Once I took a seat the fireplace lit up which gave me a little scare.
'So what now...'
Once again when reality hit me, I felt incredibly confused and scared. After all, even if I reincarnate into a fantasy world that wouldn't make me the main character, After all, this is a reality. Where people can die anywhere and anytime. And TIC said fantasy like in RPGs and almost all of the RPGs are in medieval times.
'If I will reincarnate I will need skill something like [INTERNET] because without the modern time entertainment I will go insane.'
'I guess that leaves me with 1 skill and 1 occupation huh?'
That's kind of problematic because I can be anything in the new world. I could be an adventurer, farmer, or even a magician. But in my last life when I used to play any kind of MMORPG I would pick a class that would let me craft items. For normal people that would be boring but for me, it would be more fun than going on an adventure and killing monsters.'
'I guess I'll choose [CRAFTER] class. After all, it's an incredibly safe and stable job, And most importantly it's something that I would enjoy doing (which is rare).'
And that leaves me with one more skill to choose...
Suddenly a smirk appeared on my face
'TIC today you won't be the only one to use a loophole that would be beneficial for himself.
