"Dear ...."
Before Gerry had time to respond to Satria's words, a woman's soft voice immediately caught their attention.
Gerry turned. I do not know since when the woman he had helped earlier, stood beside him. This of course took him by surprise. Who did the woman call "Dear"? He thought.
"Honey, this is your cellphone. Sorry, I took a long time because there were a few queues in the toilet."
Gerry widened his eyes even more when the woman handed him a cellphone that was very familiar to him. He quickly fumbled for his pants pocket, just to make sure. Sure enough. Turns out the phone wasn't there. He was sure it had fallen when he caught the snatcher.
"Who is she, Ger?" The question from Satria was able to wake Garry from his daydream.
Gerry looked gasped at Satria. However, it didn't last long. He then glanced at the woman back and grabbed the cellphone which was clearly hers without caring about Satria's question.
"Thanks." He whispered flatly.
The woman smiled broadly, then focused her gaze ahead, to be precise towards Satria and Reza.
"Hi, I'm Gabby. Gerry's girlfriend." The woman introduced herself, suddenly surprising Gerry.
Girlfriend? Even Gerry didn't know the woman. They just met a few minutes ago. How could that woman claim to be his girlfriend? Oh no! There must be something wrong with that woman.
"Oh, wow!"
Gerry had to undo the intention to interrupt Gabby's words when Satria had already answered the woman while clapping his hands, distracting the other friends.
"Extraordinary!" cried Satria as if he was very amazed by what he had just heard from the woman.
"Guys, look! Our friend Gerry Bramasta, finally found his soulmate!"
An interruption made by Satria, this time managed to make the cafe room noisy. Cheers and applause broke out in the room.
This of course made Gerry feel angry. His gaze immediately drew sharply at Gabby who was still faithfully standing beside him. He wanted to curse a woman who had dared to claim to be his lover. However, he couldn't do that in front of friends who already believed Gabby's words. Ah, that woman really will bring new havoc for him.
Yes, of course. Even today Gerry can survive the ridicule of his friends. However, it's still not true according to him, because things will not go well if it starts with a lie. Even once he never heeded a lie, whatever the reason.
'No! This can't be allowed! I must quickly end this lie before it's too late.' Gerry muttered to himself.
"So you mean that girl is your first love, Ger?" teased Vino who was far from him. The figure of a friend who used to ridicule Gerry, just because he didn't have a girlfriend in high school.
Just as Gerry was about to refute all of that, suddenly Gabby put her arm around him. This again stunned Gerry helplessly. What does all that mean?
"Is that correct, Dear?"
Gabby's question managed to make Gerry widen, even frozen without being able to move anymore. The woman's gaze and smile. Ah, it really makes the man seem hypnotized just like that.
Very beautiful woman. Especially when viewed at close range like that. There were hardly any fine wrinkles on her face. White and smooth skin, indicating that the woman's body is very well cared for.
"Oh, how sweet they both are!" Reza exclaimed, joining in.
Ah, why is everyone turning into a bitch? Even Reza began to be unfriendly to Gerry's feelings at this time. The figure of a friend who once rarely bullied him, only because of him who did not have a lover. However, now he doesn't seem to know the figure of Reza who used to always support him.
Could it be that everyone had changed so quickly, while Gerry was still the same. Both in nature and status. Everything is still the same as before, only the physical appearance has changed quite a lot.
"Ooooh!"
Again, the cheers from Gerry's friends broke the atmosphere again. I don't know if Gerry should be happy or angry about all that. On the one hand, Gabby's presence gave him luck. However, on the other hand he felt he was being humiliated by his friends. Was he that bad that he had to get a lot of cheers just because of the arrival of Gabby who claimed to be his lover?
Today really became the most annoying day for Gerry. He would never forget what had happened at the cafe.
"Honey, is it true that I was your first love?" Gabby asked again, wanting to be sure even though she knew it was all a charade.
"Ger, please answer your girlfriend. When asked, he's silent!" said Satria who was not satisfied with making fun of Gerry.
I don't know how Gerry feels right now. What is clear is that he certainly feels disturbed by the presence of Gabby who appears suddenly and claims to be his lover.
His expression showed a look of confusion, even he looked very awkward to compensate for Gabby's attitude towards him. Are cold men always like that? Nervous about facing foreign women?
'Ah, this girl is really annoying. I'm so ashamed!' Gerry grumbled in his heart.
"Honey, what are you doing? Are you sick?" Gabby seemed to check Gerry's temperature by placing her right hand on the man's forehead.
"Oh ... so sweet!" shouted some of the people who were there, while some of them seemed to be giggling amused to see the romance between the couple's theatrical lovers.
No! Even Gerry didn't want any of that to happen. He also didn't pay any heed to Gabby's actions. Is it still appropriate for them to be called as drama lovers without prior agreement?
"Honey, please answer my question. Your face is very pale. Are you sick?" Gabby put on a worried expression and suddenly made Gerry even more furious, even as she touched a few spots on his face.
'How dare he embarrass me in front of so many people. Just look at my vengeance, Miss!' Gerry thought cursing.
"Ger, are you sick?" asked Satria starting to worry about Gerry's silence.
Gerry turned his attention to Satria. "No. I'm fine, really!" He answered confidently.
"Are you sure?" Gabby asked, again making Gerry turn to her.
"Yes, I'm fine." Gerry answered slightly nervously and forced a smile.
Even though Gerry had tried to hide his anger, he still couldn't do it perfectly. In fact, he is not very good at lying. In stark contrast to Gabby who seemed to do the play perfectly.
"Thank goodness ... I'm glad to hear that." Gabby replied, grinning happily.
Again she caught the attention of the crowd by pressing her head against the base of the man's arm, which managed to make Gerry feel even more uncomfortable.
